That backup isn't bad, almost better I think but makes them a totally different offense. I'm sure their staff changes didn't help.

While we are on this subject, I thought UCF had a 4 star QB that was a true freshman this year. The one that wanted out of his scholie but UCF denied. Who is he or am I dreaming this? Or am I a year behind and the red shirt frosh who is doing so well is the person in question?

HC wanted a pocket passer, bortles is better than godfrey in the pocket. We beat UCF by keeping godfrey in the pocket, but bortles was doing a pretty good job from what I remember. UCF maybe more trouble with bortles at the helm for SMU.
