Until recently giving money to SMU football was basically throwing it in the garbage. We are only beginning to make donating money anything but a foolish waste. The real question is what he will do for us going forward, not what he did in the dark days.

I am far from being one of the Circle of Champions, but many of us have given to SMU and the Athletic Department annually for many years before and after the DP. If it hadn't been for many generous people over these many years, including those of us who purchased 5 years worth of season tickets in advance the year we started up after the DP, there might not be any SMU football today. Thanks for the gratitude.

Something truly tragic will have to happen for me to not make some sort of donation to the SMU athletic department. I attached and addicted to SMU sports. Addiction is a hell of a drug.
