This has been a strange Coaching search year. Too few quality candidates facing too many availiable jobs. And we haven't gotten to phase 2 when the NFL jobs start getting fired and picking from College Head Coaches

anybody remember when the big SMU debate was why don't we hire an assistant coach who recruits Texas like Graham did at West Virginias assistant. That was like 5 jobs ago. Seems like yesterday

it's going to be funny when they pull the same stunt they did with jones, make it too public, twitterverse/messageboards/alumni start circling the waggons and drive off anyone that doesn't fit the craigslist ad posted above.

then in january have to say "Oh, crap" we gotta have SOMEONE, ANYONE AT THIS POINT.

and end up with some coordinator from a Mountain West school.
