Never happen but would make stallion happy
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally
Dr. Irwin was useless. I especially hate the fact that she made the god forsaken Ohio State fight song the school fight song. Then again her reputation finally caught up to her. Ken on the other hand only coveted Thy Secretary and was a better politician than football coach. Still want the old fight song back.

Ken is in a perfect spot in Denton. Nice guy. Wasn't aware of that transgression.
Apparently nobody wants an ACC job at the moment. Can't imagine who would be excited by the possibility of coaching at the Houston of the ACC. They havent been relevant since Sherrill left them.
Maybe they'll lure Randy Edsall from Maryland. Seriously though if Pitt was smart they'd hire Ralph Friedgen. He did nothing but win at Maryland and he knows the ACC. I suspect he could recruit even better at a school like Pitt that has no academic rules at all.
OK I'm laughing too-(even though Franchione was clearly my choice and Dodge was 1 of 8 I mentioned) But do we have a duel between Todd Dodge and June Jones calling plays? Who is Pitts OC-and is one of the Coaches who has moved on.

When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.

Wonder if the UnderArmor boys are happy with Edsall's performance this year? I am fairly confident Friedgen would have had a much better year. Edsall may be on the job market earlier than expected and you raise a great though about hiring Friedgen even though age is a factor.
