Tom Mason speaks

Just talked to defensive coordinator Tom Mason.

He said he was contacted by two schools that he declined to identify, and received an offer ... which he turned down.

"I wasn't interested in going any place else," Mason said. "SMU is my home, my daughter goes to school here, and my wife and I love Dallas and SMU. I'll be here as long as June Jones and SMU want me here."

Why would you cut off a perfectly good panic thread by having the nerve to actually ASK THE MAN???? We all know if it didn't come from anonymous Twitter sources it didn't really happen anyway.
