Wow, if character truely shows through in the face of adversity that dude is a real jaggov. Denied permission only to tell them he's already done so and accepting an offer then not take their calls or speak in person to administration. Classy.

Say what you want about how public the June situation was, he handled it like a man, spoke openly about it to his superiors and when appropriate the players and alumni.

5 HCs in 13 mos. No disarray.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

I think this quote sums it up nicely: "I usually have a lot to say but I am at a loss for words," Pitt senior wide receiver Cam Saddler said, "but this is disappointing to me, and I want to apologize to all Pitt fans for being so enthusiastic when they hired coach Graham because I obviously jumped the gun in judging his character. It all sounded exciting, his offense and stuff, but here is a guy that talked about commitment, loyalty, faith and character and yet he doesn't seem to live by those things. A text message is all we get? That's just wrong."

Congrats, ASU! You've shown your standards to be lower than anyone could have anticipated.
"I don't think anyone around the country has any idea how good we are going to be." - Coach Justin Stepp

Almost seems like a kid with low self esteem. Always wanting to be wanted and won't face conflict. Hides/runs from it.

"Todd grahams coaching commitments last as long as kim kardashians marriage" and "For someone who said they read the bible everyday, he must've missed the pg that said "thou shall not lie"

http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/11349/11 ... z1gc0ewCv8

These are some quotes from a couple of the players, according to the paper.

Wow.

I hope all those boosters at ASU are happy.

Dutch, look at who runs that athletic department. Not surprised Graham wouldn't give that guy the courtesy of a phone call and just packed his bags. Not talking to the players was not a good move though.

Agreed
"This is . . . dedication to distraction by fans. Is that what I'm going to go with Jay?"
"That poor kid has to be wondering what is dad doing."

But nevermind that his agent was on Phoenix radio imploring the ASU fans to accept his client.

And let's not forget that it was reported (accurate or inaccurate) that he was telling recruits on a SMU recruiting weekend about this opportunity while he was allegedly using SMU resources -- we still need a definitive answer to that which we don't have.

Yes, this was altruism at its finest. You don't know how up front he was and neither do I.

So let's no go there.

Yes to all...

but, isn't it ironic that ASU passed on JJ because of "character issues" and then went and hired Todd Graham?
