Interesting quote:
"Now the Panthers are looking for their fourth coach in 13 months. The Pittsburgh Steelers, who share the same training complex as the Panthers, have had three coaches in 42 years."

And we would've been in much the same situation if ASU boosters hadn't refused to take Jones. This doesn't make Jones look any better in my book.

Thanks PP

Except he asked for permission and received it. He was open about the process to the people that matter. And FYI that's not fans. Look to the asu fans as an example of why fans don't matter.

If you read those articles about graham and can tell me that he and June have the same moral character than you are delusional.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

At the press conference yesterday, a reporter actually asked the Pitt AD why he should be the person in charge of the coaching search, considering how well all of his football hires have turned out in the past!

We really have no excuse as for not giving Pitt a tough time/winning this game.

We could wear black to recognize the morning they are in being without a HC.

It's a legitimate question. Dude is 0 for 3, on top of several other debacles. Here's his resume:

Nebraska:

--Fired: Frank Solich (after a 9-3 season, 2 yrs out from a national title game and having a heisman trophy winner)

--Hired: Bill Callahan (after being turned down by, among others, Houston Nutt and Dave Wannstedt, who will both coach for pretty much anyone)

--Extension: Given to Bill Callahan less than 6 months before he was fired, costing NU/NU's boosters millions of dollars in extra buyout money

PITT:

--Extension: Given to Dave Wannstedt less than 6 months before firing him, costing Pitt/Pitt's boosters millions of dollars in extra buyout money

--Fired: Dave Wannstedt (after sharing Big East title, following first 10 win season in decades)

--Hired: Michael Haywood (arrested on domestic assault charges 2 weeks later)

--Hired: Todd Graham (fled after less than a year, resigned via text message)
