The ponies should be favored on Monday against UA Pine Bluff and be 5-3 going into the break. The team record is about where it should be at this point in the season, although I do not know what to predud for the rest of their schedule.

we had better be 5-3 at the break! That's probably what most expected with 6-2 having been on everyone's wish list. What it now comes down to is whether these guys are good enough to put together a 12-6 WAC season. If they could do that and win the all important bracket buster game, I think an NIT bid would follow. It's possible an 11-7 WAC record, a bracket buster win and a 1st round tourney win would get it done (that would mean an 18-11 year). I don't know what to think going into WAC play. We could get swept by most of our WAC opponents and I don't see too many I think we can sweep, so these guys are really going to have to step it up to see the post season.

Unless the adjustment in the Baylor game has solved the lineup problems for good, SMU may only get an even split in WAC. IF we end up with a winning season, many of us with be satisfied for now.

Absolutely we'll be favored tonight. Pine Bluff lost to Baylor, and that was before Baylor had Bush (their good player - the one who transferred from LSU).

Isn't Pine Bluff the team that plays road games only?
