Said TCU's campus is nice like SMU's. Huh? Maybe we actually don't want this guy since he has very poor vision - will he be able to pick up blitzes?
Why anyone would pick TCU over us is beyond me. We are better academically. Much better location. Better job connections for after football. We are in a BCS conference. You have a better chance to start, and STAR!, here. Oh, and we BEAT THEIR [deleted]! this year and will continue to do so. Do you REALLY want to play for a school where your helmet has a freakin' FROG on it and you have to wear purple lookin' like a large grape?!? Come on, dude, we're grown men over here. Pony up!!

and our path to a BCS game is much easier then their path from here on out. There is now NO reason to go with TCU over SMU.

He's an offensive lineman, TCU has put a lot of O lineman in the NFL the past decade. His interest in playing for them makes perfect sense.

Not about making perfect sense ... it's about convincing him to come here ... those are selling points I dropped.

It doesn't look like he has a TCU offer right now but if he gets one I wouldn't be surprised if he took it. Their program has so much more going for it right now.

Recruits don't give a damn about taking the easiest route to the BCS-they in fact care about playing the best competition which is why usually 9-10 SEC teams are in the Top 25 in recruiting. Apparently the only fans I have heard that actually think its better to be in weaker conference because it has easier route to the BCS are a group of SMU fans on this board.

He will likely pick TCU because Klemm left and he was coming here to play for Klemm. He visited TCU the weekend they played UNLV. June and his agent Flipped our momentum upside down. WDNWHA start your engines......he's been lukewarm since the ASU debacle.

Why? You know him personally? Did he tell you that? TCU is the red (purple) headed stepchild of SMU just like Ft Worth is to Dallas. WE are the big-time, they are a joke. Put us in the Mountain West and we'd win a lot of games too. We will consistently beat them - it started this year. Recruits need to see and understand that. TCU had its 15 minutes. Now the REAL school in DFW is arriving!

You mean like
TV Contracts Bowl Affiliations Attendance
tell me when we get to one that a Texas recruit might favor the Big East in choosing which conference he would rather play in.
