Not sure if I buy the story, we might be giving him an interview, but I would think we would go higher profile than that.

From the site linked though, I did find this story interesting:

Hawaii: The Hawaii head coaching search will move forward later in the week with interviews. Depending on the outcome, I'm told current offensive coordinator Nick Rolovich may have a decision to make. A source tells me that Rolovich is a candidate to land another offensive coordinator position.

Hey now. With his expertise he could help to diversify the R&S with the fullback dive.

Oh wait...we need a fullback for that.

Myrdel, I bet you can't train a chimp to coach O-line. Might be a little harder than you think.

Have you met my chimp?

In all sincerity, I did not mean to diminish the expertise needed to coach any position. It s extremely important and I apologize for downplaying this fact. I do,however, believe that a good OL coach can be found with Texas ties and the ability to recruit who should at least be considered over a reclamation project.

It's looking more and more like we would have been better off if June had left.......

This guy certainly fits June's profile. Old, lazy, and no ties to Texas. He will fit in perfectly here at the retirement home.
Back off Warchild seriously.

June should hire to remind people SMU is in Texas.

Why do you say this guy is lazy? Maybe I missed something.

So are you agreeing with him on the old with no Texas ties part?

If this is true, it's hilarious in its ineptitude. Yeah, Stan Brock is totally going to light the recruiting trail on fire. Replace a young, dynamic, black former NFL player w/ three rings with another codgy, old, retread white guy.

why doesn't the CofC have input in this? - Wuba, might not be lazy but not the profile we need. Hopefully this report is false.

I agree he does not have the profile I would prefer and I have not looked at his background to see if he has Texas ties. I was just surprised to hear someone say a guy who was the head coach at Army was lazy. Still curious to hear him back that statement up with some evidence, but not holding my breath...
