Pick Up Football Game in Mesquite on Sunday Jan 2nd.

Thanks for everyone that showed up at our game today. Our games our held every other Sunday. We are having our next football game on Sunday January 2nd at Kimbrough's Middle School Football Field at 2:00 pm. For those of you that don't know the field is behind the school across the bridge. We are also looking for donations of college or NFL footballs. Kimbrough is located at 3900 North Galloway Mesquite, Texas 75150. We had about 30 people show up today and was our best showing at our games thus far. I am hoping for another good showing on January 2nd and could use everyone’s help to get the word out about the game. Even if you will not be attending the game please pass this info along to others who may like to play. I am sending you a flier for our next game that you can print out and hand to your friends or have posted at local businesses to help out. If you have a football please bring it and we will play with the best football that is brought. If you will be able to attend the game please send me an email, so I can get a head count as to how many people to expect to come play. Am I 'off'? Today is Tuesday, not Sunday (I hope!). Did you play today or two days ago? Also, these 'pickup football games'...are they full contact, flag or two-below? How are sides chosen? I have visions of "Dodgeball" in my head! Still...it sounds like fun! I may try to make it out there for the Jan. 2 game. I'll have had my fill of bowl games by then, I'm sure!
