This guy just tweeted he was committing to SMU via twitter an hour ago. Never heard of him and no profile on Rivals or Scout. MaxPreps lists him as a 5-11 245lb DL from Pflugerville. No other offers.

also shows him as a junior this year. bet his tweet is a scam.

Could it be that, as a junior and a non-marquee-position player, he's just not on the recruiting services radar yet?

The point is 5-11 245 pounds is kind of small for a BCS defensive lineman. If we want to make him a FB then fine but I thought we were trying to get offensive lineman and defensive lineman at this point.

Turns out this was a joke by Whiteside that SMT in his usual hysterical, the sky is falling fashion bit on. This kid was joking around with his friends. How did SMT find this tweet in the first place.

thanks for the brow-beating with some one trying to get information to ponyfans. Another guy posted about a kid with an offer to a Lake Highlands OLM. How about him-I think we can filter for our own the truth of twitter reports until they are confirmed

He has no interst in acurate info, just being hysterical and damaging to the program.
