Last time I will say this, I hope JJ uses this to show ASU what they missed out on

but, isn't it ironic that ASU passed on JJ because of "character issues" and then went and hired Todd Graham?

They didn't really pass on June because of character issues though. The only character issues ASU was worried about was the character of the boosters' checkbooks that were closing.

At some point ASU will pay the price for this hire. It sounds like ASU has to share plenty of responsibility having failed to acquire permission to speak to Graham and negotiating. Graham's agent was slimy by promoting his client when he knew that all protocols had been by-passed. The whole situation is a disgrace and everyone involved has slithered to the bottom of the barrel. At some point there needs to be some intergity in a process and I find none here.

I don't hope he shows them...I would challenge/expect/demand him to make his actions speak a helluva lot lounder than his words. Right now, there's little substance to what he has said.

What can a coach say to the players he is leaving behind? Only the guys who are seniors will understand. The underclassmen who are left will have mixed feelings. The ones who hate the coaches will be understanding and glad to see them go. The ones who were pampered and given preferential treatment will be hurt and mad! Some view it as an opportunity to prove themselves to a new staff while others see it as having to prove themselves all over again

Dutch, look at who runs that athletic department. Not surprised Graham wouldn't give that guy the courtesy of a phone call and just packed his bags. Not talking to the players was not a good move though.

oh, i know it's Peterson. eff that guy too.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

We have learned that Pitt offered the job to Mario Cristobal last night. Cristobal, we are told, asked that they pause the discussions until after FIU's bowl game (Tuesday night)
