Funny how Morrison got little to no credit by most when the kid committed, but now he is certainly getting his share of the blame. To be clear, I am not saying he does not deserve some (could be all, I am not sure) blame.

I just think if you are going to throw blame when it is earned you should give credit when it is earned.

I don't claim to know the full truth but
1)We had Printz's father stating in no uncertain terms over on PonyPride that he called almost every coach and tried "almost 200 times" and did not get a response
2) We had Kache Palacio stating on Scout he still had not talked to a single coach almost 6 days after June Jones stated that he was staying at SMU
Those are pretty good first hand sources

On the Palacio thing, it was made clear that someone from SMU had spoken with his dad. I do not think it is a big gotcha that June answered a question and said they had spoken to every recruit but in fact they had spoken to Palacio's dad. I think in some cases coaches do communicate mostly with parents, not sure if that is the case there.

Not defending the not answering Printz's calls thing.

The whole situation is ridiculous. So each coach completely ignored 20+ calls? They couldn't just answer the phone and say "I'm not allowed to communicate with you right now?" Does no one here have any inside info on what actually happened so as to deflate the BS speculation? If not, I guess we are just trying to avoid calling out a recruit's relative... whatever the case, this continues to be a bizarre story, but even more bizarre is why no one has an explanation here or on the paid boards 2 weeks after the fact. W. T. F.

Please, ENOUGH. I just read a letter that a daughter of a friend of mine got from kentucky. She is a JUNIOR. (Also a top soccer player in the US.) The letter states they cannot call, or have a direct call answered at this time, but if they want to talk, they can go to uk and visit, THEN they can talk. Printz's dad must be shopping the kid around. If they REALLY wanted, they could have visited SMU to speak with June.
