That part of the luncheon replayed in my head while I was reading the story. Makes more sense now we know this.
yeah, i was wondering what he was talking about. thought that maybe his client base had left him. who knows. i have a feeling that save for a few old guys, that's a young mans world. gotta keep up with today's athlete
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

So June risked ticking off a bunch of people, ruin his reputation and future, lose a bunch of recruits and play havoc with the minds of young people for Leigh??
Junes Jones wasn't the one posting inane stuff on his twitter account during the negotiations. And as previously stated, he mentioned (in person) his agent's troubles. Now we maybe learn that he's not the absolute liar many are suggesting. Not ruling on the jj coaching debacle here...just saying.

Agreed. Steinberg didn't force JJ to sit in an interview while all the stud Cali recruits were in town. And JJ has had plenty other opportunities since then to repair the lost goodwill with recruits, alumni, etc, and has done very little beyond the luncheon.
I feel so bad for a guy who has made hundreds of millions of dollars in his career that is now in so much debt. Maybe we should hold a fundraiser for him. Or start Occupy Newport Beach?
