I believe Calallen discussed it with him on ponyfans. We need to reach out to groups like this that do not have a team to support. Come to think of it I believe smupony94 said that Tim McMurray was looking into joint marketing with some local non football schools.
Way to not read the post about 10 back
FIFY and me
This all but one thing could be a great marketing gig at the other local universities. Make sure to include El Centro and the DCCCD folks. Does SMU still have an arrangement with DCCCD with respect to admitting those students after two years at community college?

Celebrity garbage. Dirk & Cuban play beer pong with fans on the field. MMA fight. Kardashian taping. Political rally. Ladies from The Lodge put on a private show. ANYTHING. Look up anything coming to town in the fall and see if they'd be interested in a free venue.
I'll sign up to compete in an MMA fight if it were on campus. I think an alum in the event would help. Gotta work on my wrestling first. Gotta stay on my feet to use my Muay Thai.

EVERYONE is a husker fan, even if they didn't go to school there. and come basketball season, EVERYONE is a Creighton fan (they sell out the Quest Center 18,000+). it's just what you do. here i think it's a good idea, but there are so many alternatives. plus all the other schools have booster clubs here. heck, i bet there's a baylor booster lunch/dinner and may even get assistant coaches to come to it. i am sure there's a UT/Tech/OU/Ag.
Dutch, don't underestimate the pull that a cheap beer deal has on 1/4 million Catholics in selling out those Creighton games. (And, as I'm sure you know, even NU has a huge booster club in Dallas.)

You vs. Dutch for the honor of the band. Do you fight pro or am and what's your record?

Amateur Muay Thai and boxing- my record is 0-2 Muay Thai and 1-0 boxing. I have another Thai match in February. I'll do that and 1 more Thai match before an MMA bout. Need to wrestle more.

Well that's an unexpected answer. Where do you train?

This could boost attendance, and maybe peak enough interest into those grads to become season ticket holders. I don't know, just an idea. It just saddens me to see our guys go out there and play for us and no one shows.
Well, I guess we need current students to show up first.
The "recent grads discount" is a good idea, but will never fly. Since his arrival, Steve-O quickly eliminated free tickets (and discounts, I think), under the theory that a more expensive ticket has increased value, and then will be in higher demand.
Pretty sure that explains why we now pay (er ... "donate to the Mustang Club") through the nose for the right to buy those tickets, and for Boulevard spaces.

this is extremely wrong. Donating to the mustang club is not only consistent with other schools ticket pricing strategy, it is a way to take a tax break on your tickets.
A+ Orsini
Also discounts were not eliminated. This is rubbish.
