The attendance at the compass bowl is going to be really really funny.

Trey was using the powers of Gamehendge to allow the show to continue, to give the band the strength it needed to help break through this barrier

Will Compass Bowl attendance > or < than Independence?
All that matters is that you will be there
Re: Will Compass Bowl attendance > or < than Independence?
Well, I will be in B'ham. As someone who missed out on bowl games in the 80's (Cotton, Holiday and Hawaii) becuase I was in grad school and thought there would be plenty more for years to come, and then living through 20 years of "wait until next year", I plan to go and enjoy myself. Even though I missed out before I still remember what I was doing during each of those games. For anyone sitting on the fence about taveling to Alabama, still time to re-consider....this is really the only way, when it comes down to it (other than joing Mustang Club) that you can support the team....

If a die hard Tulsa phan goes to a really horrible bowl game in a really awful city to support the Ponies there is no reason that every single person on this board shouldnt go.

Agree on all of the above....so what if it was free tickets? Just sell that ski trip and go to Bgham.

Just as long as we do better than the ECU "virtual bowl"

Hopefully it will at least hit its 5 year average of approximately 30k. They must fill it with locals.

Thats a big stadium to fill (thats why Auburn-Bama) played there for many years, the locals dont attend UAB games, hoping some Legion die hards show up, otherwise it will be like the UAB-SMU game is 2009, where SMOO one 35-34 after blowing a 28-7 half time lead, all 4500 fans watched that one...

Not a chance, $3K free trip. I went to terrible Tulsa to hear KTP yell at our players.

Just got back from the Independence Bowl and there was no way in hell that there was more than 15K in total attendance. The Mizzou side was half full at best in the lower level between the 20's. There was nobody in the end zones and the NC side was empty all game. I would expect that NC had 200 fans there including the 64 kids in the band that showed up.
