The NCAA to me has not shown they are going to hammer anyone ever again. Colorado and Alabama is proof enough.

Well said. As long as they let a big-money program like OSU run wild like this, no school will be tempted to tighten up its institutional control (or lack thereof). As long as you get 80,000 or more into the stadium and draw TV ratings, rules are nothing more than suggestions.
