Looks like UTEP going west

Well, it appears that UTEP and UH will be reunited. The alliance between Conference USA and the Mountain West Conference, of which UH will join as a football member in July, will result in two divisions. UTEP and the MWC schools will be part of the western division.

that really sucks for UTEP-back on an Island where nobody else in Texas will care. Except for decent attendance, UTEP is a tough sell and it always will be.

Makes sense for UTEP. The Miners have a history with the schools in New Mexico, Colorado, and Wyoming. Beats being in a conference with a virtual bowl winner.(ECU)
