On whether to go or not, here is the SMU's Bowl Central Website with lots of info...

http://smumustangs.cstv.com/bowlcentral/

You can get tickets, travel, FAQs, etc? and even info if you are not going.

Try to get there if you can. We need to put 2011 behind and have a fun time in our first post Jan 1 bowl since 1983, who coincidently enough was against Pitt.

Beat Pitt!

Fence? You're not a PF, unless you jump off the ledge. As for me, I jumped off many years ago and became a Mustang fan.

I said if we played anywhere but Hawaii, I'd be there.

My flight to Birmingham is Friday morning. Can't wait.

On the fence? On WHAT fence?

Birmingham is easy to get to. If you can't afford a flight, get a couple of friends together and drive. It can be reached in a day, and if you split the driving (and gas), it shouldn't be bad at all.

We want a big-time program, we have to act like big-time fans. That means leaving the Boulevard in time to get inside the stadium for home games, staying for the whole game and going to all bowl games.

Go SMU!!!!!!

+1

An addition to the list of things we, as fans, have to do: cheer, and not just in the fourth quarter on third down. BE LOUD!

smupony94 if you still have tickets I would really like to go. If someone else wants them that's fine. However, if not, they would be appreciated by me. I haven't made any arrangements, but I think I could do so.

I was at the game with Pitt at the Cotton Bowl. If I'm not confused with another game somewhere, it snowed and the snow was a surprise - not forecasted! We won in a very exciting game. I will take unexpected snow if we can beat them again! LOL
