SMU has sold a little over 700 through the ticket office, factor in band, players families, and fans that didn't get tickets from SMU, we should get over the 1,000 mark. Beat Pitt!

You underestimate all the ticket sources and others that don't go on these boards, nor do they even know about them.....2-3,500 will be there for SMU. Hopefully will get some Alabama folks on board as the curious....I plan on bringing some extra SMU shirts to give out to Alabama fans as they are cheaper than the tickets at $50 each!

I found seats in section 34...row 4..is that too close to the field?

See case in point here is Harry0569 a known factor on ponyfans for the last 4 years, and even HE didn't know what to do for Bowl buying protocol ( no problem Harry!) ....we will be fine and SMU will out in force. There will be more that always wait until the last minute to get tics and book as well this week. :wink:

Nope more...I hope I am more right than you, but even so lets grab a non alcohol libation( I know you are alcohol free from a mutual friend and one of my partners) in Birmingham.

My guesses, 1100 in the official SMU party, 250-750 SMU fans who bought their tickets elsewhere sprinkled throughout the stadium.
