Silicon Valley Bowl Power Outage

Postby Mike Damone » Thu Dec 30, 2004 11:19 pm

They really have to do something about the power outages in San Jose. Didn't this happen to us when we played there two or three years ago
The attitude dictates that you don't care whether she comes, stays, lays, or prays. I mean whatever happens, your toes are still tappin'. Now when you got that, then you have the attitude.

Yes it did.

Have you ever been to that stadium? It's not surprising that the electricity doesn't work. Hell, it's surprising the stadium doesn't crumble from actually having fans in it.

One good earthquake and they'll have to build a new one!

When did the power quit? For how long?
I saw some of that game (sort of - I was at a party) and didn't see the lights go out, and didn't hear the announcers talking about any kind of outage.
Not surprised, though. That place makes Amon Carter Landfill look state-of-the-art.

In this case I do not think it was just the stadium but rather a grid area of San Jose that included the stadium. They got it fixed pretty fast and were not delayed very long.
