What is everyone doing Friday night in Bham?
I am flying in Friday on the 8:10 PM AA flight and staying at the Holiday Inn in Homewood. Any suggestions for Friday night activities?

There's a Pep Rally and a party, I believe, in Birmingham.

I also get in late. Probably around 9 PM Staying at the Sheraton. Guess I will hang out in the bar for a few to see if any Pony fans are there as well.

A couple of suggested places to go -
If you're in town early and looking for a good happy hour special, Fuego in 5 Points has $2 beers and $3 margaritas every afternoon from 4-7. Small beer selection but usually something for every taste. It's also almost right across the street from Bacchus where the SMU party is going to be tomorrow night.
If you like the Gingerman, The J Clyde is a good choice - huge beer selection with a lot of really good craft beers at pretty inexpensive prices. They also have a happy hour special every day but I have no idea what it is on Fridays.
There's plenty of other bars and restaurants in the Five Points area, as well.
Not too far away for the later evening scene is an area called Lakeshore that has a small strip of bars that have a slightly younger crowd (mid-20s). Inverness Tavern is packed just about every night and, if you're up for going late night, Nana Funks is right next door and is open just about as late as you want to be there.
Also, the bar at the ALoft is a decent spot but the drinks are, as expected, kind of pricey.
As an extra FYI, cabs are definitely a good way to get around if you're out on Friday and aren't that expensive in Birmingham. I've gotten home from the bar for less than $5. The number for Yellow Cab is 205-328-4444.

I dawned out on my trip.

Trey was using the powers of Gamehendge to allow the show to continue, to give the band the strength it needed to help break through this barrier

Re: What is everyone doing Friday night in Bham?
Was rolling in the hay inspired by Adele's hit song rolling in the deep? And will women of a similar build be there? Sorry for all the questions...forewarned is forearmed. I need to know if I need to leave my hotel room with a container of Bacon bits.
