One thing we can do to improve as a fanbase

This is an issue that drives me crazy. When you get to the airport, or are whereever, and see other SMU fans, smile and acknowledge them and act in a way that you're glad they're there.

I'm as much of a cranky antisocial curmudgeon as you'll come across,but its counterproductive to look at fellow SMUers like they have two heads. Same holds true w how we welcome people to our blvd spots.

Of course the look the other way mantra isn't characteristic to everyone, but enough to where you guys know what I'm talking about.

Side note : man, this Love is overrun with kstate and arky fans this morning.

Call me goofy, but I see so few SMU decals on cars in my area, that when I do, I wave Ponyears to them. Yes, I usually get weird looks back. Oh well.

Yea this happened to me last night. Saw a guy wearing an SMU Cox shirt and my wife said Pony Up to him several times and I waved my pony ears. We definitely got the "You have 3 heads look". We have got to be more outgoing with the folks that are willing to wear our gear. Right now those are folks that probably attended, just think how someone that hasn't attended would feel if they tried to join the club.....
