I'm not sure UT goes 6-5 without Young. That young man is simply amazing. One of the best -- if not THE BEST -- individual performances in college bowl history.

Michigan played a good game and must really be feeling blue after getiing hooked by Texas. I only wish A&M had played better so the out of state teams would have more respect for football here. SMU is no longer in the vanguard of lone star FB, and I miss the glory days more each year. The public has long since shifted their interest to the big time schools, and we are on the sidelines wishing it weren't so.

Sam - you and Hixson and the cryboys just love your misery don't you?. We have the opportunity to get a ton of attention - it would be one of the biggest underdog stories in college football next year - and all we have to do is eeek out 6 wins - tough I know but not out of the question. You guys can cry in your soup all spring if you want - but I can't wait until September - for the first time in five years our out of conference schedule is not impossible, the teams we are playing are not from outer mongolia, and our team is improving so cheer the #$*&^ up!!!
