This is what makes June so puzzling. I know I've been critical of him, but I have said that he gets his kids to play for him. They definitely responded to him regardless of how much we were concerned if he lost the locker room.

But it's almost like when he's not interested in the game or the opponent -- see Navy or Army -- and the gameplan looks totally unscripted and we're making this up as we go along. In games like TCU and Pitt, it was a tight approach and we dominated.

Injuries and matchups notwithstanding, it just makes it seem this way.

Personally, I don't care if the RnS is up and down. Give me that kind of defense every week and I like my chances.
