Saw that one coming.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

You got that right - just ask SMUmusic00 and SMUballer.

I've heard that a number of Mustang fans bought their tickets at the gate on gameday.

He's in the FB pics.

Btw I guess Bud Light was the beverage of choice.

All the red looked great, if you wore blue you looked like a pitt fan.

Was pleasantly surprised at the SMU turnout.
Hopefully it's something we can continue to build on as we grow as a program.

Very big crowd for an "away" game - and very vocal (probably helps to have a warm day and a few cold pops in you).

We are starting to look like a real program on the field and in the stands. Time to figure out how to get beer in Ford - at least for the first half.

FYI, I was the one who yelled back to Paul that I never get to do that dance on the alumni side and I was gonna do it this time, dammit. Great time.

You did Jason B and it was great seeing you and your Dad everywhere we went...no I wasn't stalking! It was just a great time centered around an amazing game. I love our fans...we really have good fans and I love our Mustangs, band, cheerleaders, and Dance Team (pom squad).Basically I love everything right now. Winning does that - right? This weekend will be a great memory.

One of the most fantastic SMU related weekends in a very long time. Great fans before, during and after the game. Great to be in the hotel with the team. Players and coaches all generous (within the situation limits) to us ordinary fans. Birmingham was a great host city. And many great former players were there and very generous with their time. We are luck as can be that ED is one a great and two a fantastic ambassador for SMU.

And former players Harvey Armstrong, Blaine Smith, Wes Hopkins, Bill Ball, David Temples, Bull Woods, and David Marshall were all there and all very approachable. Pony Pride was great as usual reporting ande giving us the ‘inside’. All the Ponyfans members were fantastic as well. Just too many good folks and good people too mention.

And it all made for one heck of a weekend.

Can’t wait to do it again after next season.

Man, I'll give you ten bucks if you drop that Minnesota pic from your signature line. It's not just that it's irrelevant to SMU football, it also takes a ton of screen real estate. Thanks in advance.
