Orsini "The Don" seems to have instilled some SMU spirit into June after the ASU thing. I noticed no lei, no uniform train wreck, and June wearing an actual SMU hat today. I was really hoping the geldings would be off to the dog food factory as a part of the new deal.

Noticed the cap and no lei, have to believe he is trying to win back the SMU faithful. I for one am glad to see he did not wear the lei.

I have come around on the geldings - i think they will stay and that is just fine - we probably even need the additional action on the sideline.

Opposing teams bring cannons, drums, bells, bands with all kinds of useless crap, 16 different dpirit groups - some of them look like they are throwing giant yard sales - our is a pretty modest addition.

The girls who ride the geldings aren't from SMU. They are just random people from Kyle Ranch.
