Middleton at CB will contribute and maybe even start. Randall Joyner and Kevin Pope will be the backup ILB's.

WRs Ronnell Sims, Darius Joseph and hopefully Kyle Guinyards might be in the mix. Nyle Johnson? Nwaibuke, Cameron Smith and Robert Seals should contribute on defense. Jarrett Spencer has good size. We have so many guys who are decent prospects sitting on the bench-should be able to cover graduating losses much better than in prior years

Yes, Kitchens is gone. Coaches are very high on Seals, Spencer and Yenga. Would be a big bonus if we have Moreland and Holloway join the team next week.

Funny how we are not used to redshirts coming in to contribute. Years past, if you were good, you played. I like it.

OK, so I've dumped Kitchen, I've swapped Joyner for Bordano, I'm going to Leave the Middleton out until he shows up on the Roster.

Does Seals beat out Barnes or Wood at DE?

And does anyone have a better feel for SS?

We are recruiting a Juco Safety-they've been looking for one all year so I think they hope he can be the other Safety. Isn't the graduate transfer Randy McKinnon coming back? I think some of the young WRs definitely break the 2-Deep-you've got some walkons there now. I think Darrin Wright will be backup NG and Josh Emshoff will probably be in the mix in the Offensive Line

You're right! I got so caught up in trying to sort out the 15 or so guys we have at WR, I left Nelson and Walker on as Backups.

So, Who do we promote? Sims as the second inside backup and Nyle Johnson as the outside backup?

Too early to call. I personally would love to see Sims and a healthy Guinyard but all these guys are somewhat questionmarks

Sims-learning new position
Guinyard-recuperating from multiple injuries
Good reports on Joseph but had spotty high school on Offense geared toward Herschell and Ronnell Sims
Nyle Johnson-could be
Dieter lack of experience at D1A level
Let 'em fight it out in the spring

I drank the kool-aid on Favreau. They moved him to defense but he still shows up as an OL on the Roster. I'm waiting for Spring to see what they do with him.

I was not questioning your thoughts, just wondering if he was still on the team. Had not heard much since the move to defense.

Just checked the participation chart and he did not play any this year. So if he is still around, which I hope he is, hopefully he is prepared for either the DL or OL this coming year.

I think Wright will still be behind Aaron Davis. McKinnon "should" get a sixth season. I wouldn't be surprised to see Emshoff retire because of injuries.

Chase Joubert has been moved from receiver to db.

I would look for Ace to start over Hollman.

Those walkons will not be on the 2 deep...as stallion said, look for Darius Joseph, Ronell Sims and Guinyard to be somewhere in there....

I think Yenga is an ILB....Uchenna will prob be on the 2 deep at OLB, he looked good in limited action this year.

I still have not gotten confirmation if Cameron Smith and Seals are DE's or OLB's but have heard glowing reports about their athleticism....Smith played a lot of special teams this year.

I think Collins is cemented at one of the guard spots....Free has a shot at the other..hopefully Levingston pushes for the other guard spot with McJunkin at Center (assuming he gets another year). Gottschalk at LT. RT really seems wide open between Weeks, Reich and Emshoff?

Yes, Kitchen transferred so I would place Richardson in that spot. I'm not so sure if Padron gets the QB spot.

Looks like you can pencil in Holloway at a DE spot, and what a difference that makes!!!!!
