I wonder if we would have gotten any of those guys in the long run. Once we set our heart on the Big East, I think it was just a matter of time before the west coasters would jump once they got an offer from a Pac school.

Truthfully only one coach was not recruiting Texas. So what does that tell you. And we will hvae a class that is about 90 percent Texas before it is all over with possibly.

Dont get all hung up on facts
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

Maybe young Mr. Hulick needs a refresher in his religious beliefs. The heart of the first Commandment is about LOYALTY. The third Commandment is about respect of God's name. By his statement and "change of heart" he has broken both.

He had a "family" supporting him, SMU fans and family. What a .....

I think our addition to the coaching staff totally changes the perception about SMU. I think it is stronger now than it was with AK. These poor kids who changed their minds over the last few weeks may be making very bad decisions. If I may say with the up most respect for MY GOD...the Lord was right Carl. You should have taken that message to heart.

I guess the proof is in the pudding. We'll just have to see what JP does for SMU. I think this is a very positive hire. I guess Carl wanted to stay closer to home.

No kidding. Hulick has moved on. It's hard to imagine why he is still getting so much attention.
Good luck at UCLA. I no longer care.

We have met but our decisions are kept under wraps until the appropriate time. We have not been able to say much lately due to the dead period during which time we all go back to our families for some well deserved R&R. We mostly spend our time telling people what we do want, and then it is back to work.
