I like the hire. Anytime you have a former NFL head coach on your college staff as a coordinator is huge. And people forget that he spent a long time in the college game with Jimmy Johnson so it is not like he has never recruited or cant relate to 18 year old kids. And I have to believe he will have success recruiting in Dallas and Texas. However, sometimes this guys who come from the NFL have never prepared for the type of offensive we see in college with QB's who can run and spread attacks. Monte Kiffen certainly had an adjustment period

i'd say that strategy is working here, wouldn't you? NFL guys know how to get those kids looks and know how to work the system.
