If Reinebold is gone I'd hope it's on his own accord and he wasn't pushed out. He put(s) in a lot of effort at SMU and is a good guy.

The reason I refuse to believe this is going to happen at this point is because we are about to get BCS money now and we have the flexibility to hire a good coach/recruiter. So why would we hire an out of work coach that nobody else apparently wants? Nothing against the man but just stating that he looks like he is currently unemployed. Shouldn't we set our sites higher as a future BCS team? Again, that's why I have a hard time believing this unless it actually happens.

Because he worked with June previously that is why. Those are the only people he hires.

June hires people he knows. He has NO BCS recruiting or coaching experience so this is new territory and it's not the NFL. You'd think he'd find someone else who has travelled up and down I-35 once or twice.
