FW QB changes commitment from ASU to UCLA

This may have already been posted but I just saw it on the ESPN scroll. DFW kid committed to ASU and changes his mind to go to UCLA. Interesting. Klemm is good.

At least it's not another SMU verbal. Of course UCLA and Wazzu have already stolen SMU's verbals.

now he wasn't really a Klemm recruit-he was a Noel Mazzone recruit who switched from ASU to UCLA as OC-but he did mention how much he liked all the UCLA Offensive Coaches. BTW Todd Graham flew all the way from Tempe to Ft Worth to try to save the commitment

This kid was very interested in us but we didn't give him the time of day. He was waiting for us to offer before he committed to VA Tech (later switched to ASU). His dad went here.

He was recruited by SMU but apparently June and Morrison did not think he was good enough for an offer.

Seems pretty solid to me. Sometime you wonder what the heck they look for b/c they sure haven't gotten it right.

Does it really matter though guys? If he had been an SMU verbal (and considering he ended up now UCLA), I think he would have done turned on us as well. At least in this kid's case, I don't think we would have ended up with him anyways.

Who knows if he would of come or not? He has no offers from Texas schools, at least reported ones maybe he would like the chance to be close to home.
