That's what your supposed to do to your hated rivals. Crush the life out of them with the heel of your boot. Don't care if they're having a down year, I'll take a 16 point win over UH at home every day of the week and twice on Sunday. Now, let's string a few of those together, no?

Cotton does seem to be a fast starter; set the tone tonight and others finished

Nice solid win against a team that has traditionally had our number. Back to .500 in the conference. And a winning record overall. Feels good.

Best thing about message boards & basketball is you play twice a week. We're not nearly as bad as people make out, and we're not as good as we should be.

Good to see the Stangs have a game where they could breathe a little bit.

Favorite part of tonight was the SAE's.
Kept me entertained the entire game.
The giant photos of the guy they held up randomly cracked my group up.

Missed most of the game because I was running my 11-year-old's practice at the same time but it sounded like they played well, got everyone involved.

Got an email that Jones started again tonight. Assists to turnovers looked good, still got outrebounded and the free throws weren't grade.

On the other other hand, we got to the line 21 times, forced 15 turnovers and had 4-5 in double figures.

Good for them. They really needed this before heading to Memphis.

Maybe the hamster is still getting through the maze and not stuck on the wheel.

Good good win. I think we've won the last 3 from them or 3 of the last 4?

Too many people on this board have no idea of the context of college hoops. They complain about our lousy OOC schedule when many of the so-called top-tier programs play a similarly laughable schedule. Then they think that a win over UH is a good win.

Guess what? UH is 26 places behind us in RPI. We were supposed to win/blow them out...especially at home. The only reason everyone is so happy is because too many times in recent years, we have lost laughable games, and so now people are happy win any win that comes against a team that people know. Never mind the fact that Houston is worse this year than freakin' Florida Gulf Coast.

We have @ Memphis coming up on Saturday. If we win that, THAT will be a win worth celebrating.

Always evaluate this program in its context.

Pop Quiz: Who has a higher RPI - South Carolina-Upstate or Houston? Texas Southern or Houston?
