stallion i'll make it easier for you: we all know mcCown didn't succeed at smu. name one smu qb from the last five years who you think will have a longer nfl carreer than mccown:
conclusion: maybe HE was better than his record and his surroundings. lots of guys change schools and every one who ever left smu has not been a total looser.

Don't forget Richard Bartel. Another QB who couldn't hold a job at SMU (which was horrible at the time), but managed to make it onto a NFL roster.

SMU taught McCown how to play while getting sacked a lot. A skill he used well in the pros.
