Had a Super Bowl participant three seasons in a row?

Moorstead, Sanders, Moore

Sorry if it has already been asked.

Yes

Michael Carter 1985 (49ers)
Perry Hartnett 1986 (Bears)
Craig James 1986 (Pats)
Raymond Berry (Coach) 1986 (Pats)
Byron Hunt 1987 (Giants)

I guess that's three years in a row with a couple of extra participants tossed in for good measure

Old age has some advantages up to the point we start losing our memory.

I know it's only two years in a row, but how about Dale Hellestrae with the Cowboys in 92 and 93?

Perry Hartnett wasnt on the Bears when they won Super Bowl XX, but Reggie Phillips was.

Nice call. I completely forgot about Reggie. Wasn't Perry on the Bears injured reserve or the practice squad that Super Bowl year? Not that that would count. I think he went to Green Bay in 87 or 88.

I thought Perry was cut at the end of training camp, sat out that entire year, then made the Packers as a free agent the next year. Thats a 25 year old memory, though, I wouldnt swear to it. Maybe he was hurt, and thats why no one else picked him up off waivers.

How can you forget Reggie, he returned an interception for a touchdown in the Super Bowl? Biggest highlight of his career came when he was a rookie. Reggie still holds (tied with several others) the NCAA record for longest interception return, 100 yards against Louisville.

Yes, and he shares that record with, among others, Putt Choate who I saw return an interception from 9 yards deep in the end zone against Tulane, but given credit for 100 yards because it seems that end zone yards dont count.

End zone yards do not count in college. They do in NFL.
