Schedule looks pretty tough though. Then big east schedule starts the following year so we'd better get ready to play some football.

This is what I'm thinking.

aTm is over-rated. Let's beat them this year! Beat TCU and aTm (and Baylor?) and win CUSA. This team needs to play with a little bit of a chip on its shoulder and we win CUSA.

That's what I'm thinking is most likely.

Huh?

UH and USM, the best teams from last year, will have major down years (best players graduated and all new coaching staffs). If we are scared playing AT UTEP then we need to join the Sun Belt (that's a blow out game for us). That leaves the powerhouses of Tulane, Memphis, and Rice to beat (sarcasm) to get to the CUSA championship game. With Zach Line in beastmode, DJ breaking records, GG at the helm?, and most of our defense returning, I say 9-3 should be our expectation.

Perfect for Nov. 3. They'll be out of town when I'm in Minneapolis for Minnesota-Michigan.

Fourth year in a row that's worked out like that.

09/01/12 at Baylor WIN-No RGIII, they don't have a defense.
09/08/12 vs. Stephen F. WIN- Blowout
09/15/12 vs. Texas A&M LOSS- Aggy is overrated, but we lose it late.
09/29/12 vs. TCU LOSS
10/06/12 at UTEP * WIN- This is our Navy game, I will be royally pissed if we lose this one
10/13/12 at Tulane * WIN
10/20/12 vs. Houston * WIN- New coach, new players. Win because we are at home
10/27/12 vs. Memphis * WIN-Blowout
11/03/12 at UCF * WIN
11/10/12 vs. Southern Miss * LOSS-usual late season game for us
11/17/12 at Rice * WIN- Closer than the experts think
11/24/12 vs. Tulsa LOSS

Final Record- 8-4. I'll take it.

We can definitely beat this team. Just need the guys to come out with a swagger and not be intimidated (might be easier at home). Look at what Zach did to them once we (QB) settled down last year. Without Tannehill they are not as good (I'd like to see T-reed mirror Swope and make him a non-factor -- I think he has the wheels to do it).

I think it will be TCU like last time.
I think making it Fam Wkend helped keep more tix out of froggie hands in 2010 since the school sells Fam Wkend tix as part of that package they have for students.

Isn't Family Weekend designed to bring in the parents for a game that would not normally draw well? Do it for SFA. I cannot imagine mom and dad saying they are not coming because the fb opponent is not challenging enough. And then Memphis for homecoming.

I'm expecting us to at least split the first 4, SFA will be a slam dunk and we catch Baylor (best chance for a win), A&M and TCU at opportune times.

My attendance prediction for our home games:

SFA - 27,500
Texas A&M - 35,975
TCU - 34,440
Houston - 23,210
Memphis - 19,100
USM - 22,250
Tulsa - 23,025

Average: 26,500
