I didn't have a chance to watch it. Could you elaborate a bit on what he said?
Basically said JoePa did what was required of him in reporting incident to his superiors, and took a shot at the trustees.
The funny thing is, JoePa didn't have any "superiors" at PSU. He was Penn State. Yes, technically, there was an AD, but JoePa ran that program. He knew what happened, and he knew nothing had been done about it, since Sandusky was still around the program 8 years later or whatever. All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing. When faced with the biggest ethical dilemma of his career, JoePa cowered away.
Joe Pa saw the reporting of child rape as "we got a problem"....... it sounds to me that he may very well been aware of the Pitt disease prior to the reporting by the grad assistant. Regardless at that point he made a pact with satin... now his son and his son will have to deal with it.... could Joe have been afraid to do the right thing and demand investigation and prosecution because of his knowledge of what was going on at Penn? I think it is very possible.
Pitt is still a very sick place and Sandusky is out on chump change. He not only has no fear, his wife is supporting him, he also has all the connecting evidence to the elite Johns of the second mile club. This whole affair will be postponed until it can be dealt with under the radar. In the mean time either Sandusky will be killed, the case will be fixed to free him or big shot Johns will go down. I bet he walks away laughing.
Not that my opinion matters in the least but I don't like the Texas emblem on the sleeve. Reminds me of the Houston gamblers and, as of this past season, Galveston's Ball high.

I'll take that bet. No way he walks. None. No judge or jury in PA will acquit him

I agree. SMU has no business lowering itself to gimmicks like that.
If recruits and players like it, fine. I personally dislike Nike gear and the company that makes it, but I will always root for the Mustangs. I'll just be wearing adidas when I do.
the sleeves would be an optional thing, oregon state did an optional striped sleeve undershirt that looked kinda like the design on smu rendering sleeve opposite to the texas graphic.
I've always been against Nike's ultra modern garbage they throw out in basketball and football, but if they made something like that rendering that a fan made I would be so pumped, I think it looks great. A modern feel to the classic early 80s uni's....hope we bring back blue!

+1
I don't really care about a Texas emblem but putting the words "Dallas" on the sleeve (in white lettering) would be awesome. Time to look the part of Dallas' team.
Or a big "D" like Fresno's "V" on the back of their helmet. (Stands for Valley).
