I learned something new today...Went to our high school football banquet and learned that our HS has more players playing in D1 colleges than any 5A HS in Texas! Impressive. Out of 25 seniors on the team, 5 were awarded academic all star and 1 was on an elite academic all star but sadly, not one is at, or going to, SMU. Ut, tx state, air force, Utsa and some will announce this week. Wake up coaches!!!

Re: I learned something new today...My alma mater had a nice run as well, at Westlake.
Don't think SMU ever looked our way.. Can anyone send a heads-up to coaches? (However, I'm sure they get their fill of hot tips...) What would be the protocol? Tweet? Twitter? Email???
Re: I learned something new today...SMU made a play at Nick Foles...
Re: I learned something new today...That's right.
There might be a kid on SMU's roster last name Swope, brother of A&M receiver Ryan Swope...
Re: I learned something new today...
Thats because whenever SMU looks to great recruits in Texas they wave the white flag, and try to go get excess good recruits or sleepers in other locations.

Louie went to A&M.
Re: I learned something new today...Clear Lake Falcons down the last few years but we're coming back!
Re: I learned something new today...
I hope so b/c our games sure have been boring! LOL. Did yougo to the game this year? Asking b/c when we were leaving there were CL people getting in car w/SMU sticker and I told him I liked the sticker.
Re: I learned something new today...No, wasn't us at the game this year but good to hear of more local SMU fans in the area as we are few and far between!
