Rivals has SMU ranked 9th in C-USA, behind Rice.

Tied for 4th in average stars, .01 behind Houston and Southern Miss.

on plus side, Scout still has us #1 in C-USA and the outside-the-paywall section says Walling has committed along with a CB from CA

Once the commits form the weekend register, the point totals should give us a bump. Also, Houston lost a big one in Collins, so that should pull them down relative to our final ranking.

Not sure that's a good thing considering he decided to go to Toadville to get his froggie high degree.

Just looking out for our conference rank at this point. I don't need to go looking for reasons to get depressed lol.

I think we have to accept the fact this class will not rank well. Losing our recruits to washington state has hurt. Anyone else (in addition to Ty Law) that could still help this class and is still strongly considering SMU?

Suprise!!!! - do you really think JJ gives a crap??? His last minute heroics was just to look like he was doing something for the CofC. He plans on being gone after this season and I sure hope that is true.

GO PONIES!!!

Was that a long conversation you had with JJ when he told you that?
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
