get better players for one.

With all due respect to these guys - I will say it again, there just aren't any difference makers that are going to propel us to greatness on this roster. I am tired of the young excuse, gimme a break. Even if it was a different system, doesn't matter.

What I was trying to say in a nice way is that a coaching change is needed. A better coach will bring better players and/or get more out of the players we already have.

Do we even know what kind of talent we actually have with Robodoh's sub-patterns and bizarre attachment to various players at different times?

I guess the good news in all of this is that Doh is making the decision pretty easy.

I have been saying this since the days we left the SWC. ...

Upside in BB > Upside in FB for SMU. Facilities upgrade is a big start, we just need to hire the right person this time.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any more humiliating or embarassing... Doh brings us to an even lower level. Ok Doh supporters... where do you stand now?

Big East ---> New Moody, definite plusses for a new coach.

Those questioning the players or talent level never saw them in high school or AAU. Obviously, we need more in the way of talent, but this is on Doh. He has a decent crew of kids underachieving in ways they didn't know was possible. The kids are wearing handcuffs

Yet you are the same guy saying that the Princeton was great and touting these young studs for the last 6 months - What gives? You are contradicting yourself quite a bit. Losh was supposed to be good, Vilde was supposed to be good, Manuel is a stud, Smith is going to be great, Williams is a great UT transfer...yada --- not seeing it.

Why the doom and gloom? It''s only halftime, right?

SMU only played a half of scoring, ECU played a game.

JohnMcK wrote:This is on everyone. The coaching is horrible, but the players are equally as bad and out of their element. This is the worst rebounding team I have ever seen in my life. If the players are so talented they would be able to rebound. We give up 10+ offensive boards a game and are outrebounded by double digits most games. Horrible, in every way, is what we are right now.

The Princeton is designed to not rebound at all on the offensive side of the ball. You miss and get back to prevent the break. However, we should be better and blocking out and rebounding on defense than we are. Bunch of softies.

That's a long [deleted] way to go on a road trip to just put up 43 pts. Lots of long, quiet plane rides from the east coast coming soon.

I hate to see anyone get fired, but it's time. No spin control can save Doh's body of work @ SMU.

so have we officially bottomed out yet? We've reached the cellar (on tie-breakers) in CUSA and it's hard to figure where this team's next W will come from, especially if Rob is out for any extended period.

ugly, ugly mess. I'm sure the Big East bball schools are thrilled to see SMU coming into their league
