This restricts their ability to play the game, make plays and the sheer joy of playing the game they love. Although I feel sorry for the team in what is a disapointing season, the upside is this time next year, they will be playing for a coach that is encouraging rather than strictly punitive. Game over.

and the only year we didn't have this issue was last year, b/c we had 3 ineligible kids and 2 transfers sitting out. Doh didn't have anyone to play his games with, cause the bench was far too thin. Kids played w/confidence, cause they knew they weren't gonna get yanked. Biggest obstacle heading into this year, other than replacing Dia, was whether or not Doh could find the right rotation. He hasn't.

They can't reach this group of athletes it seems, just very different execution. The pieces don't seem to fit the system. Kids are playing scared.

The kids have been playing scared since Doh got here, if you hadn't noticed.

Dement did some premature yanking also if you dont remember but Sasser and the others played most minutes. Chris Lowe would be an All Star on this team.

FWIW, I know a few that think Kris Lowe is the best part of the Crum and should be in a more active basketball role. I always loved Lowe in high school, did all the little stuff. Another Georgia kid I loved in high school was Voc Atkins, too bad his knees blew up, cause he had range to 30

With my kids graduating from high school soon, I was really considering buying season tickets. Moving to the big east and having more time on my hands I figured it would be great to start attending basketball games again, plus an excuse to go to Dallas. But I just can't sit and watch this team anymore, it is painful and like watching junior high basketball. I am just a fan of SMU and by no means a basketball expert but it is time for this program to head in a different direction. There appear to be some good players on this team but they all look out of sync.
GO MUSTANGS!

When you can't bring friends to watch a game with you because you are so embarrassed to share the product...it's time to shut it down. Everyone who feels this way should email Orsini.
