From the article, it sounds as if Nigh is as excited to be a Pony as we to have him!

I like this guy's enthusiasm to be a Mustang. Wonder how big and strong he'll be after his redshirt year. He's got the frame to be a monster!

Keep your fingers crossed. There's talk that Texas Tech and Colorado are now all over our man Nigh.

Stick with your heart, Ross -- SMU is the right place for you!

let's just hope he remains excited about being a Mustang and remembers who wanted him first. We are finally getting close to having a group that can compete in the trenches...can't afford to lose any of the herd. Cavan did a poor job of building depth in the trenches. Under Bennett, things are looking more promising.

We need to hang on to this guy at all costs. I still can't believe our offensive linemen survived last year with so few reserves. We simply can't count on that group staying healthy all year again. In theory, Sean Lobo is the only one who will be added this year (although I've been told that Tommy Poynter might turn out to be as good or better than cousin Ben .... which is saying something, considering how well Ben played when he stepped in for Darrin Johnson). I think Tommy needs to get bigger, but several of them do. You don't want freshmen to have to play on the OL, but it will be much more comforting to have a sizable stable of talent on the sideline ... just in case. We need to keep Nigh!
