Are we not supposed to be proud of ourselves for beating our rival when they're ranked top 20? Given how full of themselves they are, they need to chill the eff out. Things like this remind me why I can't stand them.

Meh. They don't like it, see you on the field next year. Can't wait to see Patterson stroke out on the sidelines next year, sweating up a storm and making beach-sized towels all over Dallas quake in fear.

Perhaps they should quit worrying about our rings and focus on the fact that they struggled to beat a WAC team in their bowl game.

I agree, why the hell do we have the Skillet on our bowl rings?

1 of 2 highlights of the season, the other was winning the bowl game.

Yeah, but as much [deleted] as we give Fatterson for the "Super Bowl" comment, putting it on the bowl ring kind of reinforces it really kind of is.

Given the amount of TCU chatter that occurs on this board and the reaction to our win over them (people wanted to put up a freaking statue of McD) it's obvious that the Iron Skillet game is our SB, if our team gave a fraction of the effort against TCU as they did against our conference opponents we'd be C-USA champs.

I did not realize we were given input into the design of the players" bowl rings. give me a break. I fear It is going to be a long spell of sophomoric threads between now and August. Oh and BTW, FK TCU. I could care less what anyone associated with it thinks about anything SMU.

True we should be celebrating actual championships, that's a sign that we have a long way to go to close the gap and become an elite program.
