I don't know if you read the thread titled "The Problem with some SMU Alums" but Beaudine seemed be to be one of the ones that initiated the mess. I am not the only one that feel that way if you check the thread out. What got me about JJ the most was when he started offering our commits ASU scholarships before he was hired at ASU. Beaudine did no favors but was one of the initiators of the mess. I hope we do not use his firm to search for a new basketball coach.

86, I know you don't know me outside of the board, but you should know me well enough to know that I don't typically trade in rumor or speculation. It's been my experience that those who know what really happens, don't typically share or post on PF. I would be willing to bet a healthy bar tab that there is more to the story. Regardless, I just find it a bit funny that the collective board cries would 1) want June gone, and 2) be mad at the guy that allegedly tried to make it happen. Now, I guess you can argue they aren't mutually exclusive based on the fact that you want June to leave because he's checked out, which would be fair.

ASU did use Beaudine's firm as their coaching search firm that is a fact. I don't want June to leave if he really wants to be here and can get our recruiting where it needs to be to win the BE. 2013 will tell. We will have a shot at the CUSA title this year IMO and I am excited about that. Go Stangs.

I just don't know what to say about Coach Doh.
