Pawn Stars
So I was watching Pawn Stars and just now a gentleman brought in a couple of Miami Dolphins play books from 1966. The guy said his dad was drafted from SMU as a flanker for them. Pretty cool getting a shout out on Pawn Stars but anyone have an idea of who the guys dad that was drafted was??
Re: Pawn Stars
My earliest memory of SMU was during the Ricky Wesson, Wayne Morris, Louie Kelcher days. So that would be before my time.

Former Mustang player Frank Jackson was on the 1966 Dolphins roster as a flanker.

Definitely Frank Jackson, and I'm guessing his son Erik was the guy that sold the play books. http://www.outsports.com/nfl/2005/0201frankjackson.htm

He is a pretty good lawyer and if I'm not mistaken his brother Charlie played fullback. I know that Charlie owned a big fleet of concrete or mud trucks at one time. Maybe still does.
Re: Pawn Stars
I have a buddy who's an expert in antique NFL playbooks. I'll have him check these out.
Re: Pawn Stars

I can't remember the exact amount he wanted. Maybe something like $400. Ended up getting like $175 if I remember right.
