Yendley and Tanner Brock were the two starters. Ty Horn was a 2-Year Letterman in Offensive Line.

yeah I must have pulled up his 2010 stats instead-he earned a starting job last year after rising from preferred walkon. Looks like he got his first action during SMU game-I wonder if he replaced a starter after first half bombing. Yeah it looks like he was a replacement who earned a starting job after playing in SMU game.

When the 2004 season ended without a bowl bid for the TCU football team, Gary Patterson had his entire team drug tested. After six straight bowl bids, Patterson said he was looking for some reason as to why he team hadn't performed in their final game to become bowl eligible.

And don't forget Jeff Atkins who had a serious drug problem and ended up in the Big House-btw not so sure Stopperich was a drug problem-I thought he was just damaged goods from high school injury

Yeah, so not only were these guys stupid enough to be dealing the drugs, they told the undercover officers that most of the rest of the team were customers.

Notably LBs Sean Stopperich and David Stanley, chronically injured, once heralded, homesick, addicted to drugs LBs who had been receiving booster payments even after being separately kicked off the team and shuttled through re-hab programs. They are what Sherwood Blount meant when he said SMU had a "payroll to meet". Even if we stopped paying new players entirely, we had guys still expecting their payments or they'd tear the whole house of cards down. Stopperich squawked and got us sanctioned. Evidence of Stanley's continued payments by the highest ranking members of the AD were famously exposed on air by Dale Hansen, and that is what resulted our Death Penalty.

Brock implied that >70% of the team failed that drug test. If true, it would be interesting what GP chose to do in light of that information.
