Re: CP Interview
I'm interested in seeing him play...just looks so short...6-2?!?...comments from those who have watched him practice?
Re: CP Interview
I'm glad he should be able to get a ton of snaps this spring.
CP Interview
I'm a student, I'm 6'2". Connor is 5'11" at BEST.

Watching him throw on The Stampede...that's what I thought too. Kyle is 6-3 or 4 and CP looks much much shorter...I don't care how tall he is as long as he can play, but I really haven't watched him throw.

Re: CP Interview
As I heard Aikman say on the Ticket one day-who cares if a QB is short if even relatively tall QBs are shorter than OLinemen and still throwing through windows anyway?
"I think Couchem is right."

Re: CP Interview
If he can win the competition to start in the fall, I feel certain he will excel. GG isn't going to go quietly. Looking forward to seeing what will happen.

Re: CP Interview
saw CP practice a few times. While he is slightly below 6' feet, he has a strong arm, quick release and is very accurate. Based on his highschool record, he is a player. Even if Gilbert beats him out, he will get some playing time. If both CP and Gilbert come on strong, we will be in a good situation.

Re: CP Interview
CP was measured at exactly 6feet 1/2 inch...which is slightly taller than Drew Brees, Kellen Moore, Russell Wilson and exactly the same height as someone we are very familiar with, Case Keenum (although listed taller). As correctly pointed out by couchem, QB's, no matter how tall, throw through lanes not over linemen. Batted balls are mostly a function of release speed not height..this last was a direct quote from Tom Martinez, Tom Brady's QB coach from the his early teens. This kid has a rocket arm, plays tough and smart and wins. He is quoted as looking forward to competition, lets see what happens this spring and put the tape measure away.

Re: CP Interview
I don't really care about his height either, just noting that he's not 6-2 and I hadn't got a clear impression on how well he throws
Re: CP Interview
He looks like he has more touch than JJ On the long ball. Chicks dig the long ball.
