Stallion: QB Question

The two QB's - Eric Johnson and Justin Willis...

Obviously, Willis was the higher rated recruit, but are either/or both guys we should expect to see under center in a couple years?

(I ask because I was very excited about Ricky Joe Meeks a few years back, and just "eh" about Phillips... perhaps that's my anti-Bishop Lynch bias- I'm a Jesuit grad.)

Phillips is a project, never should have seen time but for the problems with the other QBs they had at the end of his true freshman year....his injury in 2004 may have been a convenient (or actual) excuse to let him develop further, away from the action.

If these two recruits see action in the next three years, they had better be phenoms or we are in trouble yet again. The best scenario is that Phillips plays in 2006 and 07, and then these two new recruits battle it out as RS-Jrs in 08 (or we get a Juco to bridge the gap again).
