Stallion always complained that the model needed to be changed, now he complains because the model has been changed.
Every post on this board about TCU generates a soul searching debate here about how ifits good or bad for SMU - and the general impact on SMU. As a TCU fan, since there was a drug bust at TCU - a simple "Ha-Ha" would suffice.
But if we just said hah hah, then that would rob Stallion of his tired schtick of pseudo-knowledge superiority over everyone, with its ensuing equally tired schtick of outrage over Stallions pomposity.
I personally am glad they got caught - since it will a) put a crimp in the drug dealing b) pop the bubble that somehow TCU could achieve this success without thugs (you cant) c) pop the bubble the TCU doesn't have just as much an issue with drugs as SMU - if not more c) adds to my scoreboard strutting since we kicked their sorry (now criminal AND stupid) butts in football last year.

Haven't complained about the SMU Admission Model once in 4 years-in fact I have been one of the few willing to defend it against unfair criticism. The Admission Model is EXACTLY where it should be-Next to nothing but with our feet out of the sewar. The hypocracy is when we pretend we haven't had 3 kids DIE of overdoses in the last few years and haven't had multiple SMU Football players jailed in recent years.

I agree DiamondM75...there's no winning with that guy. It's always gonna be bad if it's about SMU. Stallion always seems sooo eager to turn any topic into an opportunity to slam SMU. Look at him & the quotes below....
"SMU has a MUCH MUCH lower APR than TCU under Jones" Boooo SMU and booo our SMU Head Coach!
"MUCH Lower Graduation rate than TCU under Jones" Boooo SMU and booo our SMU coach!
And we lead the State of Texas in Non-qualifiers under Jones Booooo SMU recruits & booooo our SMU coach!
"SMU does have a lead on hypocrites...." Boooo SMU fans that have no love lost for our cross-town rival drug scandal ridden TCU.
"several really never attended SMU so that shouldn't reflect on the quality of an SMU education"
Booo & demean non-Alum SMU fans as if we dont need them.
Why does Stallion always seems so eager to post negative stuff about SMU to diminish TCU crimes?
He's like the guy at the family Christmas Party that is a kill-joy, so what if you sister-in-law has an ugly nose...do you rush at every opportunity to bring it up? or since you love your family do you just abstain from bringing up every possible negative at every chance?
Why does Stallion when he sees an actual crime at TCU only seem to only say stuff negative about SMU? Can TCU do no wrong in his eyes? How often have we seen praise from him since June Jones turned around this program? What is the ratio of negative to positive for this 3 straight bowl team? He often posts negatives about June Jones, about our asst coaches, about our recruits, about our academic standards...Gosh I know we aren't perfect but have the last three years really been that bad like his posts?

Define "drug problem".
Students using drugs does not equal a drug problem. There has been maryjane use on college campus for over 50 years. There has been alcohol use on college campus for over 200 years. Are these "drug problems"? Is alcohol not a drug because it is legal? Why is maryjane use more prominent today? Because it is easier to access for minors. An 18 year old can get hold of pot easier than a six pack of beer or a pint of hooch.
It is time to legalize marijuana and put law enforcement resources to better use. End prohibition now.
